The Woodburn Christian Children’s Home is a tight-knit Christian family where every adult serving in the mission plays a vital role. The children who come to WCCH are grafted (or joined) into the family where the love of Jesus empowers and guides.
The WCCH family includes Christian professionals who provide mental health therapy, life skill coaching, academic tutoring, and administrative stewardship in a unique home designed to promote each child's value, and to assist them to discover their purpose and identity in God's kingdom. At the core of the WCCH family is houseparents, married couples who live on grounds providing biblical love and parenting. Their responsibilities include oversight of typical daily living activities such as chores, homework and hygiene, while teaching children life skills. Most importantly, houseparents’ model Christ’s love and express a Godly character. Houseparents serve within a ministry team who together provide physical care, biblical guidance, emotional support, and educational resources. Currently, WCCH is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Christian Counselor (full or part-time). Contact Joe Heins, WCCH Executive Director for more information.
