Vintage 30s 40s Children’s Cowboy Cowgirl Western Metal Lunch
Box - Very old and authentic tin lunch pail dates to the 30s
or 40s. Adorable western cowgirl and cowboy design, unlike any you
have seen. Measure 6.5" x 4" x 4" deep. There is some wear, of course,
adding to the charm. One side depicts a little cowboy attempting to
lasso a calf. The other side shows a blonde cowgirl atop her horse
playing a harmonica, while a guitar toting burro follows along. Each
short side has the kids practicing their ropin'. Some slight rust, a
few spots of missing paint and some scratches but overall a very
fabulous western Americana piece. The color graphics are still bright
and bold. Cheinco or perhaps Ohio Art? Unmarked. |
